Best of Luck, Graduates of TAU-2026! Grand Graduation Ceremony
Turan-Astana University has officially commenced its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026. The grand two-day event marks the culmination of years of academic hard work, opening doors to the professional community for young specialists and signaling their entry into practical endeavors for the benefit of the state.
The celebration program is divided into two stages. On the first day, diplomas were awarded to young lawyers, translators, psychologists, and specialists in the humanities. On the second day, the celebratory baton was passed to graduates of technology and business programs, as well as specialists in design, service, and tourism. Sharing this momentous occasion with the certified specialists were state and public figures, the leadership of the educational corporation, and the university's faculty.
Following a good tradition, the university leadership and invited guests were the first to share their parting words with the graduates. The official segment was opened by the Rector of Turan-Astana University, Candidate of Economic Sciences, member of the Academy of Economic Sciences of the RK, Professor Gulzhamal Japarova. In her welcoming address, she emphasized the young colleagues' high level of preparation and readiness for new challenges, noting that each graduate is a bearer of unique intellectual capital who must continuously learn and remain true to the values of professionalism and integrity.
Next to address the hall was Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany (National Hero), USSR pilot-cosmonaut, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the RK, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of Turan-Astana University Tokhtar Aubakirov. The legendary cosmonaut urged the young specialists to adopt a large-scale strategic mindset, reminding them that all heights are open to them, and that true success is always achieved through iron discipline, inner resilience, and a sincere love for their craft and Homeland.
Abay Tasbulatov, a prominent statesman, Lieutenant General, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and University Professor, addressed the graduates with deep and motivating words of wisdom. He called upon the young specialists to remain dedicated to their professions, continuously develop their leadership qualities, and confidently build a successful future for the benefit of the dynamic development and strengthening of independent Kazakhstan.
The theme of technological progress and the nation's development was continued by the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Baiterek", Aviation Major General, Pilot-Cosmonaut of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Halyk Kaharmany Aydyn Aimbetov. The distinguished guest noted the importance of implementing cutting-edge technologies in modern realities, emphasizing that the changing world requires innovative approaches and bold decisions. He wished the graduates to stay ahead of the curve and become leaders of change in their respective industries.
Galym Bainazarov, the first Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a prominent public figure, emphasized the importance of civic and professional responsibility among modern managers. He noted that the country's economic and legal stability rests on competent specialists who are called upon to become a reliable foundation and a guarantor of the sovereign state's prosperity.
Concluding the series of parting speeches, Vice-President of the "Turan" Educational Corporation, Professor of Turan-Astana University, Doctor of Economic Sciences Urak Aliev addressed the graduates. The professor reminded them of the inextricable link between science and practice, emphasizing that a diploma is not a finish line but a starting point. He wished his young colleagues to always remain researchers in life and seek solutions based on deep analysis and facts.
